A great new opportunity to offer your goods or services with CCTA

We are writing to update you on CCTA’s intention to offer the membership a comprehensive suite of unique goods and services. This exciting initiative is intended to add major “added value” for the longer term benefit of CCTA Members.

For some time, we have been considering offering a variety of additional unique goods and services to the Membership through a web ‘Portal’ accessed via the ‘Members Only’ section of our website. The first stage of this project involved redesigning and upgrading the CCTA website and this has now been successfully completed. The new CCTA ‘Portal’ will provide easy web links to a selected range of ‘pay for use’ goods and services. These ‘added value’ services would be integrated and provide: -

oA public link on the CCTA homepage leading to a bespoke page which lists details of the Portal offerings, the general concept and advantages

oEntry to the Portal will be available to Members via the ‘Members Only’ section of the site, accessible using their existing unique Member ID

oThe web keyword structure in the existing CCTA website code would be updated to include references to the newly available member services and companies, thus assisting search engines to find your offered service by way of our very busy website

oA discount or cost advantage would be offered to all CCTA Members using the services.

oThe Portal will be provided free of charge and will be paid for by customer use. It is envisaged that the Provider of the goods and/or services will collect payment from the customer and that CCTA will receive an agreed share of the revenue as introducer/enabler of the commercial transaction.

oThe Portal will be ‘badged’ as the CCTA Portal and CCTA will own the intellectual property rights of the Portal’s offerings of specialised goods and services.

CCTA now invite you to consider what services or goods that your own organisation might offer through our Portal. The services or goods will eventually be selected after consultation.

Requirements for those offering services through the portal

Offerings could include access to information on any number of varied services to our membership (as an example only sees those listed below but all services from our members considered):

o Systems Suppliers
o Credit Referencing
o Online Training
o Legal Services
o Debt Collection
o Vehicle identification
o Production of documents
o Recruitment
o Document Management Systems
o HR Consultancy
o Consultancy
o Insurance
o Web Services
o Any Other

We believe that this will be a mutually beneficial service amongst our membership and we anticipate that those wanting to be involved in the provision of these unique services on our Portal will be or become a CCTA Member

Selected services will be accessed via a series of web links, which will send the user to a service provider’s online facility in any of the following ways:

1.Leading to: An existing registration and log-in screen allowing access to their system and their selected goods and services, with Member’s discounts or Member advantages clearly stated
2.Leading to: An email link or online enquiry form for Member’s to complete and submit. The page should include information about Member’s discounts or Member advantages clearly stated
3.Leading to: A dedicated webpage, specifically designed to explain to CCTA members what’s on offer and any discounts or advantages.

CCTA will provide a help guide to assist you in how to set up the correct way to receive a Member enquiry.

We would need to know:-

oWhat are your ideas on the goods and services that your organisation offers that could be considered for inclusion in the offering?
oWhat are the considerations to ensure that Members can easily access and use the Portal?
oWhat would be the likely timescales for any additional preparation required at your end to enable you to receive and fulfil any Member enquires?
oDo you have any other suggestions for ensuring the Portal’s success or any other points for consideration?

I look forward to your response by email to myself chris.oakes@ccta.co.uk or call me on 07932 721321 or contact my Marketing Manager Jenny by emailing jenny.soles@ccta.co.uk

Kind regards

Chris Oakes
