CCTA Council & Committees
Ensuring that new legislation works in a real world environment is one of the most important considerations we have as a trade association. In order to do this CCTA is governed by a council, made up of representatives from the membership that meets bi monthly to discuss the development of the Association & the all important implications of our lobbying activity.
In CCTA 2010
we are looking to construct a legal and technical committee who deal specifically with the consultation agreements that come from government & assist with the development of CCTA’s responses. Sat around the Legal & Technical committee are a number of working groups that members can get involved in to deal with sectoral or issue based consultations. The diagram below demonstrates how these groups work together to ensure that the members’ views are represented in our lobbying activity.
If you would like to get involved in any of these groups please contact Chris Oakes - Chief Executive of CCTA, to discuss on 01274 714959.
