Pre-Contract Information (PCI) is a legal requirement for lenders. It replaces the European version of the Standard European Consumer Credit Information (SECCI) and must be provided to consumers ahead of them entering into a regulated agreement. The PCCI provides the customer with key information in relation to features, costs and consumer rights for the product/service selected.

Adequate Explanations (AE) are a regulatory requirement for firms entering into a regulated credit agreement. Under FCA CONC rules, this document provides key information to the customer including the suitability of the product, the financial particulars i.e. payments and frequency, consequences of late payments and defaults and rights to complain.

Cover sheets (CS) are a guidance document for creditor/lender use. It helps ensure that relevant documents, such as PCCI and Adequate Explanations, have been provided to the customer and all information contained within are accurate, before the customer signs an agreement.

As part of our complete review in 2022, we made significant changes to the Terms & Conditions (T&C) pages of our agreements. In addition to reviewing the content, we have also increased our font sizes and improved the layout. Each clause is clearly defined and placed into sections.
